FOTEG International Trade Fair for Food Processing Technologies took place at CNR Istanbul Expo Center on 1-4.March.2012

Our stand together with our principal U.K. firm MATCON LTD. was visited by about 40 firms from the Food and Chemical Industries of our country.

The exhibited MATCON Smart Drum Systems and the Model for the Flexi-Batch complete Powder Processing System received close interest.

MATCON.-

We are representing for already 3 years the UK based and internationally recognized firm MATCON, who produces containers (IBC's) and handling systems for powder form raw materials and products. We are already working on serious projects for the Pharma, Chemical and Food Industries. MATCON also produces special IBC's for the pharma industry for gentle handling of tablets. These are also drawing close attention.

CRONIMO.-

Our Argentine based firm CRONIMO produces Fluidbed Dryers and Granulators, Mills, High-Shear Mixer Granulators and also Tablet Coating Systems. Their standards are equivalent to allwestern manufacturers. Their prices, however, are reasonably lower.

NEOPACKAGING.-

This Argentine based firm produces small output Blister Machines for R&D and Pilot operations or for small capacity production. The first machine imported to Turkey is being used with appreciation.

LIXIS.-

We have just started introducing the Argentine firm LIXIS who produces Vision Control Systems for Blister and Cartoning Machines, Barcode Readers, Pinhole Detectors for Alu-Alu Blister and sophisticated 'Track and Trace' systems. We have sent questionnaires to all pharma related companies to the attention of responsible managers for Packaging, Quality Controle, Project Planning Departments. After evaluating the existing systems and any current needs, we plan to organize a symposium with the experts of the firm to introduce their products in detail.
